1  A few preliminaries

  1. The original website began in February 2020 after contact had been made with a home schooling group in West Oxfordshire, UK.

  2. Many online videos and lessons have been looked at which do not do the job they should do.

  3. They tell you that there is an age group for whatever topic it is but, too often, it seems to be a lower age group.  This makes it annoying for pupils, parents and teachers.

  4. Too often, these online videos and lessons include special language and terms such as mass, matter and gravity which are not explained.

2  Improving your learning

  1. Children riding on rockets and similar  pictures are shown everywhere in online lessons.

  2. The website has done that a very few times in the early pages. See the rocket picture here.

  3. If you are looking for children and planets riding on rockets giggling and screaming this is the wrong website for you.
  4.
  5. Imagine you travel to the other side of the universe for what you think is a year.  Your ten year old brother when you left has three grandchildren when you return.

  6. Scientists carry out 'thought experiments' which support such imagination with loads of maths.

3  More on improving your learning

  1. Your imagination is an important part of learning from this set of websites.  Using your imagination makes you think and that's one of the ways you learn.

  2. Do you keep your books and

  3. Toys on orange sofa and floor in children's untidy play room Stock ...     toys tidy ? How many children do?

  4. Keeping track of your study material is important for learning.

  5. You will meet Captain Kirk of the Starship Enterprise who will help you keep a diary or log.

  6. This will keep track of your learning and activities which will be found in green text as you travel around the website.

  7. Not too many activities as you can think of more yourself to help your learning.
